I feel like almost every blogger I know says this, but the friendships with kindred spirits that have come out of blogging are one of the most tremendous and unexpected perks of doing this.

It's a little like online dating, I think - you don't meet in person at first, you kind of wonder, "Does she like me?  Does she want to be friends?  Am I coming on too strong?"

But almost without exception, the people I've met (well, virtually) through blogging have been kind, supportive, warm, encouraging, and fast, fast friends.

I adored Sarah Dorsey from almost the instant I first visited her blog and love that she's become a blog-friend.

Sarah and her husband are in the process of driving cross-country in a move from CA to OH, and I'm so happy to be kicking off her Q+A series while she's on the road!
